Hi New Hoos & Welcome to UVA!! My name is Macy Lindblom (she/her), and I’m a rising third year from Alexandria, VA studying Latin American Health in the U.S. with a Concentration in Spanish, Biology, and Public Policy & Leadership on the pre-med track! When I’m not hunkering down in Shannon Library (trust me… that library makes studying an ~experience~), you can find me involved with a variety of organizations on Grounds including the PhiDE pre-med fraternity, Madison House, Sin Barreras, or working as a Research Assistant or Medical Scribe in the Emergency Department! I also studied abroad in Valencia last summer, so would be more than happy to answer any questions :) Outside of the classroom, I enjoy working out (the AFC group fitness classes are a must try), embarking on new hikes around cville (and feeling sore for weeks after), and exploring new restaurants with friends (still nothing beats Asado boneless wings!). No matter your background, interests, or ambitions, UVA truly has something for everyone, so I cannot wait to see you all blossom as part of our community. I am absolutely ecstatic to meet each and every one of you this summer, so please feel free to reach out at any point - I am always down to answer questions, share advice, and of course... chat!!
